Nassim Huertas ND

Nassim Huertas is a Naturopathic Doctor specializing in primary care for pediatrics, adolescents, and young adults. She also offers comprehensive naturopathic mental healthcare for patients of all ages. With a particular focus on mental health and stress-related conditions, she has advanced training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and biofeedback. She utilizes a unique program called Mind-Body Medicine to help patients in these areas. She is skilled in herbal medicine and possesses expertise in guiding patients towards lifestyle modifications aligned with their personal values and goals. Her healthcare philosophy is rooted in patient empowerment.

Dr. Huertas earned her Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University. Following her doctorate, she completed a two-year residency at One Sky Family Medicine. Prior to her doctoral studies, she earned a B.S. in Biology from the University of Washington, interned at the Surgical Outcomes Research Center at UW Medical Center, and participated in a medical mission to the Philippines. Her experiences in the Philippines and observing surgeries at Harborview underscored the significance of holistic healthcare and health education.

Dr. Huertas is a first generation Filipina-Iranian-American. She enjoys cooking, baking, sports, Husky Football, making botanical medicines at home, and spending time in nature.
